These terms explain how Taptapcards works when you purchase a physical Taptapcard and use the digital profile service.

1. About Taptapcards
Taptapcards provides personalised physical NFC business cards together with an online digital profile.
The physical card allows compatible smartphones to access the customer's Taptapcards profile using NFC technology.
2. Your Taptapcard
Each Taptapcard is personalised according to the information supplied by the customer.
Customers are responsible for checking that the personalisation information they provide is correct.
Because cards may be personalised specifically for an individual customer, personalised items may be subject to different cancellation and return rights where permitted by law.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
3. Digital profile
Each Taptapcard may be connected to a digital profile hosted by Taptapcards.
The digital profile is provided as part of the Taptapcards service and is not intended to constitute a lifetime or perpetual hosting guarantee.
We aim to keep active customer profiles available while the Taptapcards service is operating. We may temporarily suspend or deactivate a profile where reasonably necessary, including for maintenance, security, misuse, unlawful content or a serious breach of these terms.
If Taptapcards permanently discontinues the digital profile service, we will aim to provide reasonable notice where practical.
4. Your profile information
You are responsible for ensuring that information you provide for your digital profile is accurate and that you have permission to use any information, photographs, logos or other material you provide.
You must not use your profile to publish unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, abusive, defamatory or otherwise inappropriate content.
We may remove or disable content that we reasonably believe breaches these terms or applicable law.
5. Your profile address
Your digital profile is assigned a unique profile address.
Profile addresses are intended to remain associated with the original customer and will not normally be reassigned to another customer.
Deactivation of a profile does not necessarily mean that its profile address will become available for another customer.
6. NFC functionality
NFC functionality depends on the customer's device, operating system, browser and device settings.
Taptapcards does not guarantee that every smartphone or device will support NFC functionality in exactly the same way.
The digital profile can normally also be accessed directly using its web address.
7. Orders and payment
Orders placed through third-party marketplaces or payment providers may also be subject to that provider's terms and policies.
Where an order is placed through eBay, the purchase is also subject to the applicable eBay terms and policies.
Product prices, delivery charges and other applicable costs will be shown before an order is completed.
8. Delivery
We will aim to dispatch physical cards within the delivery timeframe stated at the time of purchase.
Delivery times may vary depending on the delivery service, destination and circumstances outside our reasonable control.
9. Returns and your legal rights
Nothing in these terms removes or limits any rights you have under applicable UK consumer law.
Where you have a legal right to cancel or return an order, we will provide the information and process required by law.
If a personalised card is faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact us so that we can resolve the issue.
10. Website availability
We aim to keep the Taptapcards website and digital profiles available and functioning properly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability at all times.
Maintenance, technical problems, security incidents and circumstances outside our reasonable control may sometimes affect availability.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Taptapcards service, legal requirements or business operations.
The latest version will be published on this website with the date it was last updated.
